I saw blood,,
Spilled and scattered,,
Around you and me,,

And I held my head up high,,
I bravely stared into your eyes,,
Struggled hard not to shed a single tear,,
Foolishly faked a single smile,,

I saw blood..
Spilled and scattered,,

Silent evidence of the dreadful sins,,
Committed by two unconnected souls,,
Yet you stood there,,
Unruffled,,

I saw blood,,
Spilled and scattered,,

Did it come from the wounded heart?
Or dropped from another part,,
Which badly injured,,
Just like the heart,,or the mind,,

I saw blood..

You kissed me one last kiss,,
Heartless and careless,,
I kissed back,,
For a priceless blessing I've thrown away for you,,
